Surplus property program

If a property is not identified for use by any County agency or department and no longer required for County purposes, it is considered surplus property. 

Our office makes the County's surplus properties available for sale, donation or other appropriate and responsible means of disposal. This is done in accordance with California Government Code §25504 and County of Santa Clara Ordinance §A 34-90, "Disposal of Personal Property No Longer Needed."
